THALi is an exiting Jazz/World group from Switzerland.  The group is led by the founder and singer/composer, Sarah Buechi, and includes musicians Matthias Tschopp, Stefan Aeby, André Pousaz and Lionel Friedli

Sarah Buechi spent eighteen months living in Bangalore absorbing and studying music.  THALi’s music is now greatly influenced by South Indian traditions.  

In 2007 THALi was included on the CD ‘Soundz of Lucerne’, released through the Swiss label Altrisuoni and recently they released their debut album THALi - Vidya Mani through the Swiss label UNIT Records.

Extensive touring in the last couple of years has seen the group play at Jazz venues throughout Switzerland, this current tour takes in venues around Ireland, north and south.
